Axolotl’s scope
Translate the owners’ aerial photograph into a bespoke entry door and adjoining panel.
Materials and processes
3D printed relief with an aged aluminium surface.
The challenge and response
The design needed to retain the photograph’s fine detail of houses, streets, cars and trees. Axolotl translated the image into a 3D printed surface, then coated the door and panel in aged aluminium.
